I have sat on both sides of this. The review is not a test of your numbers; it is a test of whether the supervisor believes you understand your own balance sheet.

Bring the person who actually built the model. Let them say "I do not know" when they do not. The alternative — a confident answer that unravels under one follow-up — costs more than the admission.

The model builder point is right. We stopped sending only the CFO and started sending the actuary too. The conversation changed completely.

Add: rehearse the three scenarios you would *least* like to be asked about. You will not be asked exactly those, but the exercise exposes the seams.
